About this gig
I will check engineering drawing/blueprint pages (in PDF format) to make sure that there is no information missing (from a manufacturing estimator point of view), as well as a check of spelling and grammar. This is to help minimize the back-and-forth in case the drawings are sent to another party (outside vendors, for example). I will apply numbered callouts to the page and will include a separate typed list of the corrections/suggestions.
If I do well enough, I will buy the Solidworks program so I can offer to make the changes and possibly offer 3D modeling assistance.

I am an estimator of 10 years and a planner of 1 year looking to help people out. I am an annoyingly detail-oriented person who grew up enjoying problem-solving. My past experiences come from different industries including sheet metal manufacturing, wire and cable, shade structure fabrication, clamp fabrication, and custom lighting. Although I would not receive drawings or specs for some of the work I did, I did work with them quite a bit. I have experience with Solidworks, AutoCad, and Inventor. I also have experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
