I will build a data platform on microsoft fabric
Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform data architect
About this Gig
AI is only as good as the data beneath it. I build the governed Microsoft Fabric platform that Copilot, Fabric data agents and Power BI can rely on.
I'm a working data architect who builds Fabric platforms in a regulated investment environment, so you get production-grade engineering, not a tutorial copy.
What I'll build for you:
- Medallion lakehouse (Bronze, Silver, Gold) on Delta tables
- PySpark pipelines, scheduled and incremental
- Data quality checks on every refresh
- A semantic model with shared business definitions
- Governance, lineage and access control
- AI-ready outputs for Copilot, data agents and Power BI
How it works:
- We agree a fixed scope before anything starts
- I share a short design plan for you to sign off
- I build, with progress updates along the way
- You get a walkthrough, documentation and full ownership
Not on Fabric? I also work with Databricks and Azure. Please message me before ordering so I can confirm the right package.

FAQ
Do I need my own Microsoft Fabric licence?
Yes. Everything is built in your own Fabric tenant so you keep full ownership. A Fabric trial or F2 capacity is fine for most projects, and I can advise on the right capacity size before we start.
What do you need from me to get started?
Access to your Fabric workspace, details of your data sources (files, databases or APIs) and a short description of the reports or questions the data needs to answer. We confirm everything on a quick call before the build starts.
Can you work with my existing data or pipelines?
Yes. I can extend or migrate an existing setup rather than starting from scratch, including moving from Synapse, Databricks or Excel-based processes into Fabric. Message me with what you have and I will suggest the best approach.
Will this work with Copilot and Fabric data agents?
Yes. The semantic model is built with clear business definitions, relationships and descriptions, which is what Copilot and data agents rely on to give accurate answers. Licensing for those AI features sits with your Microsoft tenant.
