About this gig
Noise - the bane of every recording. Mouth noise, clicks, pops, wind, cars... a cat. Anything can take something you are happy with and turn it into a problem. Fortunately, with cape on my back, I am ready to reduce that noise. Varying degrees of noise reduction are available. Sometimes, it is as easy as setting some parameters in my software to reduce it to your needs. But in the case of something more dastardly I can also help... it just takes me longer to identify and remove the offender.

My name is Andrew, and I have been working with sound as long as I can remember. I opened my audio business Permanent Records in 2001. I have worked with everyone from Randy Bachman to Alice Cooper, Heart, April Wine, and Colin James. These days I prefer a studio setting, and I have a very nice home setup with dedicated space.
I do everything from consultation to mixing, editing, repairing and mastering audio, and have a strong voiceover. I work extensively with podcasts and YouTubers, and believe that the barrier holding a lot of influencers back is poor audio.

FAQ
Can you get rid of (x, y, z)?
Maybe. I can GUARANTEE That I can reduce the offending sounds, and often can completely erase them. But sometimes things are just impossible, like isolating a mouse sneeze in a hurricane. If you send the audio first, I can happily give you a free sample of what I am able to do!
How long is this going to take?
How fast do you need it? I often can get things pretty good by setting up my software, but if I have to go in manually and go through an entire file, it can take a long time - often 2.5x - 3x the length of the audio. So it depends on how far you want me to go!
