Pre-med strategy from someone who has actually sat on the admissions committee.
I served on the Loyola Stritch admissions committee from 2022 to 2026 while earning my MD. I scored applications and saw what gets candidates accepted vs rejected. I help applicants build their strategy 1 to 2 years before submitting AMCAS.

FAQ
When should I start working with a pre-med advisor?
Ideally 18 to 24 months before you plan to submit AMCAS. The strategic decisions made in your pre-app year (school list, MCAT timing, activities) shape your whole application. Earlier than 24 months works too but the year before applying is highest leverage.
Do you help with MCAT tutoring or just MCAT planning?
This is MCAT planning only: when to take it, target scores per school list, prep timeline, study schedule. Actual MCAT content tutoring is a different service (provided on request)
How are sessions scheduled?
After you order, message me with 3 to 5 time windows over the next 5 to 7 days. I confirm within 24 hours and send the Zoom link the day before. Multi-session packages are scheduled as we go to fit your timeline across the pre-app year.
Will you help with my personal statement?
Personal statement strategy is covered under my dedicated admissions consulting gig (different listing). This pre-med gig focuses on pre-application planning: school list, MCAT, activities, timing. The PS becomes relevant once you are about to apply.
Do you cover MD-PhD, DO, dental, or other applications?
DO yes (strategy is nearly identical to MD). MD-PhD has additional considerations we can discuss. For dental, vet, PA, or other professional schools, message me first to confirm I have relevant context.
I am a gap year applicant. Is this useful?
Yes. Gap year strategy is one of the highest-value use cases for this gig. We discuss how to use your gap year productively, what activities make the strongest application, and timing for re-applicants or fresh applicants.
Can I record our session?
Yes, with your permission. I record on my end and send you the file with your written action plan so you can revisit recommendations as you execute them across your pre-app year.
