Twitch Subscriber Badges (Sub Badges or Twitch Badges) are badges that Twitch streamers can make available to their communities once they have reached affiliate status. Once streamers have reached the status, they can upload their own Twitch badges to their dashboard.

Twitch emotes are small emoji-like icons that you can use in any Twitch streamer's chat room. Twitch streamers with enough viewers can upload their own custom emotes for subscribers to use. If you download the third-party extension BetterTTV, you can access dozens of new Twitch emotes for free.

You must upload the image in three different sizes: 18px x 18px, 36px x 36px, and 72px x 72px. The image must be uploaded in the PNG format. The image must have a transparent background. The file size cannot exceed 25kb.

The ideal Twitch emote size is 28×28 pixels for web, 56×56 pixels for retina display, and 112×112 pixels for other large devices. Twitch emote template has three different sizes and you must upload all three sizes to ensure the right emote is rendered for the right device
