How will you change the document I send to you?
I will edit your document using the Track Changes feature in Microsoft Word. You will receive: an unchanged version of your original document, a version of your document with Track Changes comments and a version with my changes implemented.
What do you mean by "Track Changes"?
Track Changes is a feature of Microsoft Word that allows me to leave easy-to-follow comments on your document. These comments make it clear why I have made changes, and allow me to easily query anything within your writing. It's a time consuming document but it's worth the effort!
Do you work in British English and American English?
Yes, I can accommodate both. Please tell me which you would prefer before I start working on your document.
Do you follow a style guide?
For British English, I usually follow the Guardian and Observer style guide. For American English, I usually follow the Chicago Manual of style. This allows me to maintain a level of consistency across all the work I proofread. If you have your own style sheet then let me know.
