About this gig

Your rig is a combination nobody sells an adapter for. Mine will be.

I design and 3D print custom accessories for camera rigs and video setups - mounts, adapters, brackets, cable guides, cold shoe extensions, counterweights, NATO rail parts. Anything that connects one piece of your kit to another when no off-the-shelf part exists.

WHAT I NEED

Photos of both parts you want to connect, with a ruler or coin for scale. Tell me which standard interfaces are involved - 1/4-20, 3/8-16, cold shoe, NATO, Arri pins and how it needs to sit.

WHAT YOU GET

- A part designed around your exact hardware

- STL files you fully own, so you can reprint any time

- Step file Standard up

- A printed part shipped to you (Standard and up)

- Material chosen for the load

WHY THIS WORKS

German engineering firm. I design around the actual thread standards and tolerances, so the part fits first time instead of nearly.

IMPORTANT: This item is strictly an accessory part. It is not designed, tested, or rated to carry, hold, or secure heavy equipment. No use n applications where equipment is suspended or held above people.

Need a part that actually works, not just a nice render? We're Protoverse Engineering, a small engineering company in Germany. We do 3D scanning, reverse engineering and CAD, rebuilding existing parts as clean, editable data, and turning ideas into models that can actually be manufactured. A scanner plus engineering judgement is the reason why a part we model fits when it's printed, instead of almost fitting. You get STEP, STL and dimensioned drawings. FDM printing on request for parts we've modelled ourselves. And if something isn't worth doing, we'll tell you before you order.
