Will my insurance company accept this?
Yes — reports are USPAP-compliant under Standards 7 and 8 on PROVENANCE letterhead, suitable for carrier coverage with major insurers (Chubb, AIG, PURE, Berkley One) and standard valuable articles policies. Some carriers have specific format requirements — message me first.
What do I need to provide?
Clear photos of all sides, including hallmarks, serial numbers, tags, signatures, and condition details. Approximate dimensions if relevant. Provenance information if known (purchase receipts, prior appraisals). Insurance carrier name if known so scope of work aligns with their requirements.
How is this different from an appraisal?
