About this Gig
I have been a theatre teacher in northern California for the past eight years, including virtually since 2020. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all method for every aspiring speaker, so my style is to work with each student to define their individual goals and then tailor the techniques and exercises I introduce to match. I am especially practiced at teaching improv, lessons for children and teenagers, and working with brand-new actors, but thanks to my wide range of experience, I can offer something for anyone looking to expand their actor's toolbox.

Do I need to have prior experience?
No, no prior experience necessary! I'm very skilled at working with brand-new actors.
Do I need to have a monologue or scene chosen to practice with?
If you have a specific piece you want critique on, bring it! Otherwise, I can help you find a monologue to work with or focus on technique exercises that don't require specific text.
What platform do you use?
I am most experienced with Zoom but can also meet via Google Hangouts, Skype, or the platform of your choice.
Do you teach theater/film/voice acting?
Yes! Most of my experience is in theater acting, but I can help you prepare for a film/voice acting audition as well and provide useful techniques.
If I like working with you, can I keep buying packages?
Absolutely! I have virtual students I've been working with for a year or more, so if you would like further lessons or want to keep meeting, I'd be happy to keep that relationship going.
