About this gig
Send your description/definition of the Indicator or Strategy. Include references to similar ones if they exist in the market. I would prefer some pictures of your own as those are the best way to share info, any kind of drawings are okay! Use a snipping tool or hand drawing as an example.
I'm able to help you to describe and write descriptions if needed but some basic info is a good start point.
You get a sort of estimate of pricing from those existing gigs.
Those revisions are more to get an idea how much back and forth discussion/new updates are needed. It is quite common to add something extra, like filters, trailing stop later on.
Silver: Basic Indicator, some plots calculated
Gold: Initial level strategy, basic logic and targets and some parameters optimizable. Indicator: More advanced, several plots
Platinum: More advanced technology used, Multi TimeFrame or some event base info like order depth included to the logic.
FYI. It is quite common that a custom indicator is needed and that can be done as a separate project first. And usually it is a nice way to get familiar with each other.

Yes, but sometimes the initial version can be delivered as a binary as more or less an example of what is looked for to get better mutual understanding.
