I'm an avid reader with a genuine love for urban fiction, romance, street fiction, relationship drama, and emotionally driven stories. Some of my favorite authors(Brittiany Cherry, Kenndy Ryan, Latash Bishop).
I'll look at your overall story to tell whether it was engaging, the hook, where interest peaked. I'll give updates on characters and if they're believable, if motivations were clear, and if I connected with them.
I'm also looking into Dialogue, if conversation feels natural, did characters have distinct voices, and if dialogue felt forced..
I'll check for story pace to make sure it reads at right speed, or if sections seem too slow or rushed, and point out impact of important moments.
I also will cover emotional impact of characters, as a reader, and if conflict/relationships feel authentic.
Lastly I explain reader experience which covers readers confusion, if plot point need more explanation, or where my interest dropped completely.
I am not here to rewrite your story, or change your voice. My job is to tell you as an experienced reader how your story feels at first glance.
