I will build qs spreadsheets for valuations, variations and tender comparison

About this Gig
A good commercial spreadsheet does the sums, catches the errors and makes the decision obvious. I build one made to order - around your project, your trades and your format, not an off-the-shelf download.
I'm a retired contractor's quantity surveyor. I'll build you a clean, self-checking workbook for the jobs I did for 30 years:
- Tender / subcontractor quote comparison - line up quotes side by side and see the real cheapest.
- Payment application & valuation tracker - keep applications, certificates and retention straight.
- Variations register - log, price and total every change without losing track.
- Final account summary - pull it all together at the end.
- Cash-flow forecast (S-curve) - see the money in and out across the programme.
Self-adjusting totals, locked formulas, obvious input cells - built so the usual mistakes can't creep in. I build the framework and the maths; you add your own quantities, rates and quotes, so it stays yours. I don't price your job or supply rates.

FAQ
Can I get a ready-made template cheaper?
Off-the-shelf templates exist and are fine if a generic one fits. This is different: I build the workbook around your project, your trades and your format, with revisions and a guide. You’re paying for the fit and the QS judgement, not a download.
Will you price my job or give me rates?
No — I build the spreadsheet tool. You add your own quantities, rates and quotes, so it stays yours and stays accurate.
Will the totals still work when I add rows?
Yes. I build self-adjusting totals so nothing breaks as your data grows.
Can you match our in-house format?
Usually, yes. Send a sample layout and I’ll build to it.
Excel or Google Sheets?
Either — tell me which you use, or ask for both.
