About this gig
Photographing art and paintings may be a challenging task.
Altering the most common problems are: visible imperfections, dust, disadvantageous light reflections and distorted colours.
BASIC
- brief removing imperfections and dust visible on the image (limited)
- adjusting contrast, lightness and colour balance
- cropping and improving composition.
- final image in 1500x1500px 200dpi as JPG
- with additionally bought commercial use 2000 x 2000px 250dpi as layered TIFF for selling platforms
STANDARD
- removing main imperfections, fingerprints and dust visible on the image
- removing colour distortion and disadvantageous light reflections.
- cropping and improving composition.
- adding signature and logo
- preparing files for printing
- final image in 4000x3000px 300dpi as TIFF
EXHIBITION
- full removing imperfections, fingerprints and dust visible on the image

Hi there, I am South Yorkshire, UK based experienced Retoucher, Illustrator, Fine Arts artist and Graphic Designer.
I do professional retouching and restoration at the exhibition and publishing level.
Images are retouched carefully by me personally, and are not transferred to outer and cheaper services (this is why I can't offer you abnormally low prices, which are not covering the standard UK hour wage).

FAQ
What is the recommended image quality?
200-300dpi, original image preferably TIFF with the original size. Image can't be blurry or in extremely low quality.
What is STACKING?
Stacking is a combining a few images of the artwork with focused point set on different parts of the artwork, which makes the entire area sharp. Images have to be taken from the same position of the camera on tripod.
What art images can't be edited successfully?
