GA4 is the new version of google analytics. Google will remove the GA3-(UA) in 2023. That's why we need to use the GA4 right now.

GA4 server side tracking -

In start of 2021, Apple announced IOS 14 Intelligent Tracking Prevention Updates that block all information and abilities of the apps to track user behaviour. In April 2021, Apple introduced the new cookie into the Safari browser known as IOS 14 cookie. And Google Chrome will use this same cookie In start of 2023.

80% of users will opt out of tracking and in 2021 IOS 14 affected 70% online businesses. But within time Google introduced new features which is Google Server Side Tracking. That's why servers side tracking is very important right now.
