I will audit your sop or process documentation
SOP and Process Documentation Specialist
About this Gig
If you have an SOP but aren't sure whether someone else could actually follow it, I'll review the documentation for gaps, unclear instructions, hidden assumptions, and usability issues.
This is a documentation audit, not proofreading. I review your SOP for purpose and scope, prerequisites, sequence, decision points, exceptions, responsibilities and handoffs, completion and quality criteria, terminology, and overall usability.
You'll receive:
An annotated copy of your SOP with findings and recommendations
A Documentation Review Report summarizing results by review category
Clear identification of areas requiring updates, clarification, or verification
I will not rewrite or directly edit the SOP as part of this service.
Scope:
One existing SOP, up to 10 pages or 5,000 words, whichever comes first.
Your SOP must substantially represent the current process. If the process is largely undocumented, outdated, or requires substantial discovery or reconstruction, a Build service may be more appropriate.
FAQ
What is the difference between an SOP Audit and an SOP Fix?
An Audit identifies documentation gaps, unclear instructions, hidden assumptions, and usability issues without changing your document. A Fix includes the review plus supported revisions using the process information you provide.
What kind of document is appropriate for an Audit?
An Audit is for an existing SOP or process document that substantially represents the current process. If the process is largely undocumented, outdated, or requires substantial discovery or reconstruction, a Build may be more appropriate.
Will you edit or rewrite my SOP?
No. The Audit identifies and explains documentation issues and recommends updates, but does not change your source document. If you want supported corrections made directly to the SOP, the Fix service is the better fit.
What is included in the base price?
The Audit covers one SOP of up to 10 pages or 5,000 words, whichever comes first. You’ll receive an annotated copy of your SOP and a Documentation Review Report summarizing the findings.
What if you discover the project is outside the purchased scope?
I’ll stop before completing work outside the purchased scope and explain what additional work is needed. We’ll agree on the scope, cost, and next steps through Fiverr before I proceed. No additional work will be performed without your approval.
Do you verify that my procedure is legally compliant or safe?
No. I review the quality and usability of the documentation. You remain responsible for verifying the factual, technical, legal, regulatory, financial, medical, and safety accuracy of the underlying process.
Can you audit specialized or technical procedures?
Yes, provided you or an appropriate subject-matter expert supply and verify the specialized information. I can identify documentation gaps, but I do not independently create or certify technical requirements.
