I have worked at various trading firms as a trader/market maker on Euronext equities markets. When one gets hired in this field, it's common that you'll need to write your own analytics and trading tools. It's mostly a trade off: you can use Python for quick implantation of your ideas or use C/C++/C# for quick execution of your ideas. Other language (except Java in one firm I've worked) are generally not used.

I can build basic one screen applications to complete advanced trading systems. We can start with a one screen application and extend with multiple screens. Furthermore, we can implement your idea into signals for trading. I also can do the data analytics to find patterns in the data and let the system trade on it.
