Can you work on a game that is already live?
Yes. I read the existing code first, work in a copy of the place and hand back changes you can publish when you're ready.
What language do you script in?
Luau, Roblox's own version of Lua, in roblox studio. The code is commented so any lua scripter can extend it later.
Can you fix a script someone else wrote?
Yes, that's the roblox bug fix side of the Basic package. I tell you what caused the bug before I change anything.
Can you build a combat system?
Yes: melee or ranged combat, custom roblox abilities, cooldowns and hit detection checked on the server
