If I send you multiple takes, can you select the best sections for me?
This process is called Comping. My work is directed towards already comped tracks, but I'll be happy to do this for you for an additional fee - just make sure to select this service extra when placing your order (price displayed is per vocal track)
What do you use for pitch and time correction?
Melodyne, Vocalign Ultra and Auto-Tune (as/when needed)
Will you make my vocals sound robotic?
Only if you need it. My standard approach is to make vocals sound as natural as possible, but I do recognize that some styles may require a more robotic/artificial/autotuned character.
Will you add effects to my vocals? (delay, reverb, etc)
Only if needed. If that's the case, I will always deliver them separately from the dry vocals by exporting the auxiliary channels for flexibility during mixing.
How do your deliver your files?
I deliver in the same Sample Rate and Bit Rate of your original files (usually 24-bit/44.1 or 48kHz). I'll send you the dry vocals and their FX (when used) as separate tracks.
