n8n or Make, which should I use?
Depends on your situation. Make is easier if your team will maintain it themselves. n8n is better for complex logic, self-hosting, or keeping data in your own infrastructure. I've delivered client work in both and will recommend based on your setup, not my preference.
Do I need my own n8n or Make account?
Yes, for Basic and Standard the automation is built on your account so you own it outright and it keeps running independently of me. If you don't have one yet I'll tell you which plan tier you need before you order.
What if the tool I use isn't a standard integration?
Both platforms support custom HTTP/API calls, so most tools with an API can be connected even without a prebuilt integration. Message me with the tool and I'll confirm before you order.
Can you add AI into the automation?
Yes. I've built workflows that call Claude and OpenAI mid-pipeline for summarizing, classifying, and generating content. If you want a full conversational AI agent rather than AI inside a workflow, my AI agent gig is the better fit.
