Do I need my own server for the Basic package?
Yes. Basic requires your own VPS such as DigitalOcean or Vultr, starting at around 5 dollars per month. You also need your own API key from OpenAI or Gemini. I handle the full installation, configuration, and connection to your messaging platform.
Which messaging platforms can OpenClaw connect to?
OpenClaw supports Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, and Slack. Basic includes one platform, Standard includes two, and Premium includes all platforms. Telegram is the most reliable for automation and the easiest to set up.
Which AI models are supported?
I can configure OpenClaw with OpenAI GPT-4o, GPT-4o-mini, Google Gemini, or Anthropic Claude. You will need your own API key. I will guide you on how to get one and set it up correctly within your instance.
How much will it cost me to run OpenClaw after setup?
For Basic, expect around 8 to 12 dollars per month covering your VPS and API usage. For Standard and Premium, there is no additional cost during my hosting period. After handover, running costs are typically under 15 dollars per month depending on usage volume.
Is OpenClaw safe to run on a public server?
Out of the box, OpenClaw has a known security vulnerability rated CVSS 8.8. I apply full security hardening on every setup including Docker sandboxing, firewall rules, and non-root user configuration to protect your instance from unauthorized access.
What happens when the Standard or Premium hosting period ends?
I provide a complete handover including source code, environment configuration, server access credentials, and a recorded video walkthrough. You can continue running it yourself or purchase a hosting extension through my gig extras to keep it managed.
