Level 2
About this gig
Is your website exposed to ADA accessibility lawsuits or CIPA privacy claims?
In 2025, 4,900+ digital accessibility lawsuits were filed in the US, ~70% against eCommerce stores. The 2026 WebAIM Million found 95.9% of top homepages fail WCAG. On the privacy side, CIPA wiretap claims (Sections 631/632) over Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, chat widgets and session replay are still active, even after SB 690.
I audit and fix both in one gig:
ACCESSIBILITY (WCAG 2.2 AA / ADA)
- Manual + automated audit (screen reader, keyboard)
- Fix color contrast, alt text, form labels, headings, ARIA
- Shopify, Squarespace, WordPress, Wix, Webflow
CIPA / PRIVACY
- Scan every pixel, tag, cookie and chat/session-replay tool
- Consent banner that blocks tracking until opt-in
- Google Consent Mode v2 + GTM setup
- Privacy and cookie policy disclosure checklist
You get a clear PDF report, fixes done, and before/after proof.

FAQ
What is CIPA and why does it matter if I'm not in California?
CIPA is California's wiretap law. Lawsuits have targeted sites that share visitor data with Meta, TikTok or chat and session-replay vendors without consent. Your business can be outside California and still face claims if California residents visit your site.
Didn't SB 690 end CIPA lawsuits?
Only partly. SB 690 (signed Sept 2026) removed private claims under the pen-register section. Private claims under the wiretap sections (§631/632) are still possible. Getting consent before tracking is still the safest setup.
Will an accessibility widget or overlay protect me?
No. About 22% of accessibility lawsuits in early 2025 targeted sites that already had overlays installed. In January 2025 the FTC fined accessiBe $1M over its compliance claims. I fix the actual code.
Which WCAG version do you follow?
WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the current standard. It's referenced by ADA lawsuits, the DOJ, and the European Accessibility Act (enforced since June 2025).
Will this guarantee I never get sued?
No one can honestly guarantee that. My work greatly lowers your risk and documents your good-faith effort. For legal questions, please speak with an attorney.
Which platforms do you support?
Shopify, Squarespace, WordPress/WooCommerce, Wix, Webflow and custom HTML sites.
