Will I lose any data during the migration?
No. I take a full backup before starting, migrate into a separate staging database, and validate row counts on every table against the original. Your production system stays untouched until you approve the staging environment.
I have custom modules from another developer. Can you still migrate?
Yes, that is exactly what the Premium package covers. Custom modules written for older versions usually need API changes to work on 17+. The Basic audit tells you how much work each module needs before you commit.
How much downtime will there be?
Typically 2–4 hours for the final production cutover, which we schedule for your quietest window — usually a weekend. All the actual migration work happens on staging while your live system keeps running normally.
Can you migrate from Community to Enterprise at the same time?
Yes. You will need to purchase the Enterprise licence separately from Odoo. I handle the technical switch and module activation as part of the same job.
What if something breaks after go-live?
Premium includes 7 days of post-launch support. I also keep your rollback backup for 30 days, so reverting is always an option
