About this Gig
If you take card payments on your website, your bank or payment provider may ask for a PCI DSS self assessment questionnaire (SAQ) or a passing vulnerability scan. I handle the technical side of that work.
WHAT I DO
1. Identify which SAQ type fits your setup, for example A or A-EP for hosted checkouts.
2. Review the website and server against the requirements that apply to you.
3. Fix technical findings: TLS settings, security headers, outdated software, open ports, file permissions and admin access.
4. Help you clear failed items from your scan report.
5. Document what was checked and changed, so you can complete your SAQ.
WHAT I DO NOT DO
I am not a QSA and do not issue compliance certificates. You sign your SAQ, and an approved scanning vendor runs your scan. I prepare the site and server so those steps can pass.
I have worked as a developer and DevOps engineer since 2019 and do the server work myself.

What is PCI DSS?
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. Any business that accepts card payments has to follow it, and the work required depends on how your checkout handles card data.
Can you make me PCI compliant?
I fix the technical requirements on your website and server and document them. Compliance is confirmed by your SAQ, which you sign, and by scans from an approved scanning vendor.
Which SAQ applies to me?
It depends on your checkout. Fully hosted payment pages usually mean SAQ A, embedded payment forms often mean SAQ A-EP, and storing or processing card data yourself means SAQ D. I confirm this in the first step.
How long does it take?
The scope check takes 2 days. Fixes take 5 to 14 days depending on the server, the platform and how many findings there are.
Do you help with the next annual review?
Yes. Message me before your renewal and I will re-check the site and server against the same list.
