1. Which accounting software do you work in?
I work in Xero and QuickBooks. If your books are in another system, message me before ordering and I’ll let you know if I can help.
2. What do you need from me to get started?
Accountant or read-only access to your Xero or QuickBooks file, plus your VAT number and the VAT period you need covered. For catch-up work, please send bank statements for the months involved.
3. Do you handle VAT returns for UK businesses?
Yes. I prepare and file Making Tax Digital (MTD) VAT returns. Your books need to be up to date for the period before I start, or you can add the catch-up extra.
4. Can you catch up on old or messy records?
Yes. Add the “Catch-up per month” extra for each month of backlog. For a large backlog, message me and I’ll quote you a custom offer.
5. Is my financial data safe?
I keep all client information confidential and only use it for your work. I only need the access level required for the job, and you can remove my access whenever you like.
6. Do you offer ongoing monthly bookkeeping?
Yes. Choose the Standard or Premium package for monthly work, or message me to set up a recurring arrangement.
