I will build field service and maintenance software, german speaking, swiss based

Level 2
About this gig
Your technicians document on paper. Service dates live in someone's head. Customers call to ask when maintenance is due. There is software for that, and it can be yours rather than rented. I am a German-speaking engineer based in Switzerland. The whole project runs in German or English, from first call to documentation. I built qr-labeling.ch: technicians scan a QR code on any installed component and see documentation, service history and next due date. Used by HVAC, plumbing and electrical firms in Switzerland.
WHAT I BUILD
- Mobile-first documentation for technicians on site, with photos
- QR or RFID tags on installed components, scannable for years
- Service history per component, building and customer
- Automatic maintenance reminders to your team and your customers
- Planning dashboard: next month's workload before it hits you
- Customer portal, if your clients should see their installations
HOW WE START
Book the Blueprint package. In a 60-minute session we map how your technicians actually work, then you get a written specification, a screen flow and a fixed price. The fee is credited if you order the build. Ramona Schindler, engineer, founder of Pelephant GmbH, Zurich.

FAQ
Can we run the project in German?
Yes, natively. I am German and based in Zurich. Calls, specification, user interface, documentation and support can all be in German, or in English if your team prefers. Swiss German is no problem either.
Do my technicians need a special app?
No. It runs in the phone browser. A technician scans the QR code on the component and is in the documentation within two seconds. Installable as a web app if you prefer an icon.
Can our customers see their own installations?
Yes, through a customer portal with their own login. They see documentation, service history and the next due date, and get reminded automatically.
What does a build cost after the Blueprint?
A technician app with one core module is the Pilot package at 6500 US. We define the modules and deliverables together.
Can you connect it to our ERP or accounting?
Yes. Bexio, Abacus, SAP Business One, Lexware, DATEV and most systems with an API. We define the interfaces in the Blueprint.
Who owns the software?
You do. Source code, data and hosting account are yours. I offer ongoing operation and support as a separate agreement if you want it.
