No. I work against a staging copy or a Git branch wherever possible, test the fix, and only then deploy. For production apps I take a backup first and deploy carefully so your users aren't affected.

Which Laravel and PHP versions do you work with?
I work with Laravel 5.x through 12 and PHP 7.x through 8.4. I can fix issues on your current version, or upgrade you to a supported version (Laravel 12 requires PHP 8.2 or higher).
