How is this different from ordinary cleanup?
This service includes a record of the supplied file, processing steps, outputs, and limitations. It suits work where the method needs to be explained. Ordinary cleanup focuses on the listening copy.
Should I send the original recording?
Yes, where available. Send the file as received from the recording device and explain any known edits, conversions, or transfers. If only a copy is available, I will document the limits that creates.
Does enhancement prove the file is genuine?
No. Making speech easier to hear does not establish authenticity. If you need a technical examination of suspected editing or manipulation, ask about the separate authenticity-analysis service.
Will you guarantee court acceptance?
No. I provide the agreed technical work and documentation. Acceptance and evidential use depend on the relevant process and requirements. Testimony, sworn statements, and legal advice are not included.
Can you recover every word?
No. Some speech remains masked, distorted, or absent. I identify those limits and do not invent words. A transcript is a separate deliverable and must distinguish audible content from uncertainty.
What does the report contain?

Will you use AI tools on my recording?
Any proposed third-party cloud processing or material AI assistance must be discussed before use. I will not use generative reconstruction to invent speech and present it as recovered evidence.
What can I request in a revision?
You can request an adjustment to the agreed processing or clarification of the documentation for the same source and selected regions. New evidence, new regions, or a different examination question require a new scope.
