About this gig
PayPal One Time, Subscriptions & Recurring Paymets lets you accept payment for your member subscription service. If you have a membership website and want to add a subscription feature, PayPal subscription API helps to do it easily. PayPal Subscription button is a quick and effective way to allow your websites members to purchase the membership online.
We will Integrate PayPal Payment Gateway with Recurring Payment Subscription using PayPal Webhook API using PHP. We will not use IPN (Instant Payment Notification), because that method has been deprecated (though lots of old websites still using this method) & facing some problems.
We will implement the following functionality to accept payment for a subscription & recurring via PayPal Payment Gateway -
- Create a PayPal button for registered members to make payment for the subscription or simple payment.
- Redirect the buyer to the PayPal site to complete the subscription payment for a specific tenure.
- After the payment, the subscriber will redirect back to the website.
- Validate transactions through PayPal Webhook & store payment data in the database.
- Display the payment and subscription information subscription.
