What will I receive every month?
Every transaction categorized, every bank and card account reconciled to its statement, and a profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow by an agreed date each month. You can also subscribe to this gig monthly on Fiverr and pay less per month.
Who works on my books?
I run Royal Business Services B.V with over 15 years in accounting. My team and I work in QuickBooks every day, and I review every file before it goes back to you.
How do you keep my financial data safe?
You add me as an accountant user in QuickBooks Online, so no passwords are shared and you can remove access at any time. Your statements are used for your books only, and I will sign an NDA if you want one.
How is the price decided?
Monthly bookkeeping is priced on your transaction count and number of accounts. A cleanup is priced on the months and transactions involved. Share a statement or a QuickBooks report and I'll send a fixed quote with a delivery date.
My books are behind for a year or more. Can you catch them up?
Yes. Earlier months are rebuilt from your bank and card statements, reconciled month by month, and delivered with a profit and loss and balance sheet for each year.
What do you need from me to start?
Accountant access to QuickBooks Online, bank and card statements for the months involved, and a short note on what the business does. If you are not on QuickBooks yet, the statements are enough to start.
Do you clean up my QuickBooks before monthly bookkeeping starts?
Yes, that comes first. I correct wrong categories, remove duplicates, post missing entries, fix opening balances and reconcile every account. Monthly bookkeeping then runs on a clean file.
Can you record payroll in QuickBooks?
Yes. Payroll is recorded from your payroll reports, with wages, taxes and deductions posted to the right accounts and matched to the bank, so the payroll figures in your reports tie out.
Do you file my tax return?
I keep the books and prepare the reports. You get reconciled accounts and tax ready statements, which is what your CPA or tax accountant files from.
What if something in the books needs correcting?
Tell me and I'll fix it at no charge. Corrections to my own work are always free, because the books have to be right.
