What type of file should I submit?
Please submit your text as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx). This will allow me to send you a clean copy and a Track Changes version. Feel free to include any related PDF files, images, web pages, etc.
What if my file isn't a Microsoft Word document?
Please export it to a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx). If you cannot do so, feel free to ask, anyway, and I'll see what I can do!
Will my work be kept confidential?
Of course! As much as I'd love to add to my portfolio, if you're not comfortable with that, I'll delete your document from my computer as soon as I'm done with it. I'll also be happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement if needed.
Do you work with AI?
No. I'm strongly against generative AI, and editing it tends to require a lot more work to make it sound natural. I also do not use AI tools in my editing since they cannot offer the same care a human editor does (and tend to make embarrassing mistakes).
