I will validate and quality check your GIS and geospatial data to identify geometry, attribute and consistency issues before they cause problems in analysis, mapping or downstream workflows.
I can review datasets such as Shapefile, GeoPackage, GeoJSON, KML and CSV with coordinates.
Depending on the selected package, I can check for:
Invalid or broken geometries
Duplicate features or records
Missing, null or inconsistent attributes
CRS and projection issues
Suspicious coordinates or misplaced features
Basic topology problems such as overlaps or gaps when relevant
Schema and formatting inconsistencies
General spatial data quality issues
Standard and Premium packages can include corrections when the intended fix is clear and can be applied safely.
Premium includes a structured QA summary explaining the issues found and the corrections performed.
I primarily work with QGIS and structured geospatial datasets.

What GIS file formats can you work with?
I can work with common geospatial formats including Shapefile, GeoPackage, GeoJSON, KML and CSV files containing coordinates. If you use another format, please contact me before ordering.
What kinds of GIS data quality issues can you check?
I can review geometry validity, duplicates, missing or inconsistent attributes, CRS/projection issues, suspicious coordinates, schema inconsistencies and basic topology problems such as overlaps or gaps when relevant.
Will you automatically fix every issue you find?
Not always. I only apply corrections when the intended result is clear and the fix can be performed safely. Ambiguous issues will be documented instead of changed without confirmation.
Can you work with large or multi-layer GIS datasets?
Yes, but please contact me before ordering. Large, complex or multi-layer datasets may require a custom scope depending on feature count, geometry complexity and the type of validation required.
Will I receive a report of the issues found?
Standard and Premium deliveries can include a clear summary of detected issues, corrections performed and any remaining items that require manual review or additional context.
