I will deliver expert media training for founders, ceos and teams to master interviews

About this Gig
You didn't build your business to be tongue-tied on camera. Every word you say on air is extractable, shareable and replayable out of context, in seconds, to millions. One clumsily-worded 15-second clip doesn't just sound bad - it becomes the story.
This is the Clip Economy. And most interviewees aren't trained for it.
I'm Mark Terry-Lush BBC broadcaster, PR strategist and media trainer with 30 years experience turning unprepared executives into compelling, controlled communicators.
I work with founders, CEOs and thought leaders who are stepping into the spotlight whether that's a national press, radio, TV interview, as a podcast guest, or fronting a crisis.
What I coach: How to craft messages that land in the clip economy. How to control hostile or off-script questions. How to own any format: studio, Zoom, podcast, radio, print. How to crisis-proof your reputation before it needs saving.
You won't get: Generic media theory. Role-play with a clipboard. Advice relevant to 2016.
You will get: A trained BBC broadcaster in your corner. Frameworks used by FTSE leaders and fast-growth founders.

FAQ
Is the training available online?
Yes — all sessions run via Zoom. You'll receive a full recording within so you can review your performance, revisit the frameworks and share clips with your team.
I've never done a media interview. Is this for beginners?
Perfect for beginners — but it doesn't treat you like one. The Media Basics package is designed for first-timers or returners who want to walk in prepared, not wing it and hope for the best.
Can you train my whole leadership team?
The Half-Day and Full-Day packages are designed to accommodate 2-4 participants (plus observers). Team training is where the real value compounds — everyone aligned on the same message is far more powerful than one polished spokesperson.
What's the difference between media training and PR coaching?
PR coaching shapes your story. Media training teaches you to deliver it — under pressure, on camera, in real time. I do both, which means your message and your delivery are built together, not bolted together at the last minute.
I have a podcast appearance coming up. Is this relevant?
Absolutely. Podcasts - and most are now filmed - are now one of the highest-stakes media formats for founders - long-form, unedited and clipped endlessly on social. One session will transform how you prepare, structure your answers and handle unexpected directions
What if I freeze or go blank on camera?
That's exactly what we train for. You'll leave with a 3-second reset technique, five bridge phrases you can deploy instinctively, and live practice that freezing becomes far less likely — and recoverable when it happens.
Do you offer crisis media training?
Yes — and at one level it's built into every package. The Full-Day Intensive includes tailored crisis scenarios based on your actual business. If you need standalone crisis prep, contact me for more details on "Crisis Preparedness" training and development.
How quickly can you deliver a session?
Standard booking is within 3–7 business days depending on package. If you have an interview, press moment or podcast dropping imminently, the Urgent Delivery add-on gets you a session within hours.
