What are Stems?
Stems are grouped audio files that represent key elements of a song—like vocals, drums, bass, guitars and/or other instruments.
Preferred stem format?
WAV file—ideally 16 or 24-bit, 44.1kHz.
Should I send the tracks with processing, or keep them raw?
The drier the stems, the better. I’ll handle all effects during mixing, so please bypass any EQ, compression, reverb, etc. before exporting. If you have a vision for the sound, feel free to include a rough mix as reference.
