Do I need to already have a website?
Not at all. Whether you're starting from scratch or replacing something that isn't working, the process is the same.
Do you work with WordPress?
I don't build on WordPress — I build custom sites from scratch using modern web technology. If you're moving away from WordPress, I can help with that transition.
What do I need to have ready before we start?
The more the better, but nothing is a dealbreaker. A logo, brand colors, and your page copy are the big three. If you don't have them yet we can figure out a plan during Discovery.
What if I don't know what I want my site to look like?
That's what our first meeting is for. Most clients come in with a rough idea — a competitor's site they like, a sketch, a vibe. That's enough to get started.
Can I update my own site after it's built?
Yes, if you choose my "Business Site" or "Full Business Suite" then you'll have a clean editing interface to manage content without touching any code. For all options, you will be provided with a copy of your site's code to edit yourself or to provide future developers.
What happens if I need something added after launch?
Smaller updates and content changes are covered under the monthly support add-on. Anything bigger like new features, integrations, major redesigns, gets scoped and quoted separately.
What if I'm slow getting my content to you?
I can only get so far in the design process without page content. So it pushes my timeline back accordingly. There are plenty of chances to revise your content once I have enough to go on. And if you need help with content, I offer help with that as an additional service.
