What is Microsoft Clarity, and is it free?
Clarity is tool for heatmaps, session recordings and click tracking. There's subscription to pay after free trial.
I don't have any tracking installed yet. Which package do I need?
Start with Clarity Setup. Heatmaps need 1–2 weeks of visitor data before they're useful, so once data builds up, order the Behavior Report or Dashboard + Report for the analysis.
Will tracking slow down my website?
No. Clarity load a lightweight script in the background that has no noticeable effect on page speed.
What about privacy?
I set up masking so sensitive fields like passwords, emails and payment details are never recorded. You should also mention the tool in your site's privacy or cookie notice.
What's the difference between this and your GA4 gig?
GA4 tells you what happened: visits, conversions, sources. Heatmaps and recordings show why: where people click, how far they scroll, and where they give up. Most sites need both.
Are you available for long-term or contract work?
