I beta read manuscripts written in English or Brazilian Portuguese.
What is included in the reader report?
The report may cover clarity, pacing, structure, consistency, reader engagement, characters, dialogue, argumentation, strengths, weaknesses, and practical suggestions.
Do you correct grammar and spelling?
Beta reading does not include full proofreading. I may point out recurring language issues, and a sample line edit is available as an extra.
Do you accept fiction and nonfiction?
Yes. I accept literary fiction, memoirs, biographies, education, philosophy, history, politics, and other nonfiction manuscripts.
Will you provide comments inside my manuscript?
Inline comments are included only when specified in the selected package. Please check the package details before ordering.
Will my manuscript remain confidential?
Yes. Your manuscript, ideas, and personal information will be treated as confidential and will not be shared or reused.
Which file formats do you accept?
DOC and DOCX files are preferred because they allow inline comments. I can also accept PDF files for reader reports.
Can you beta read a full-length book?
Yes. Please contact me before ordering manuscripts longer than 40,000 words so I can prepare a custom offer.
Can you also edit or rewrite my manuscript?
