About this Gig
BETA READER FOR YOUR BETA READING
Have you written a story and wondered how readers will experience it before publishing? I can help you find out.
As your beta reader, I'll read your manuscript with genuine curiosity and attention, sharing honest, thoughtful feedback on what works, what feels confusing, and where your story could become even stronger.
I welcome manuscripts across fiction, including:
- Horror & psychological thrillers
- Cozy mysteries & crime
- Romance & contemporary fiction
- Fantasy & speculative fiction
- Children's books
- Self-help & personal development
My feedback focuses on plot development, pacing, character believability, dialogue, emotional impact, readability, and overall reader experience. I'll highlight engaging moments, confusing sections, inconsistencies, and places where I wanted more, or felt something was missing.
You won't receive empty praise or harsh criticism. My goal is to give you constructive, respectful feedback that helps you see your manuscript from a reader's perspective and make informed revisions.
Send me your manuscript and let's make your next draft even better!

FAQ
What does a beta reader do, and what feedback will I receive?
A beta reader reviews your manuscript from a reader's perspective and provides honest, constructive feedback on plot, pacing, characters, dialogue, readability, emotional impact, and overall story experience. You'll receive reader observations and suggestions to help improve your manuscript.
Can you beta read horror, romance, fantasy, mystery, or children's books?
Yes! I welcome fiction across genres, including horror, psychological thrillers, cozy mysteries, romance, fantasy, contemporary fiction, and children's books. I also accept self-help and personal development manuscripts.
Will you provide developmental editing or proofreading with your beta reading?
My beta reading service focuses on reader feedback rather than line editing or proofreading. I'll identify confusing sections, plot inconsistencies, pacing issues, character concerns, and areas that could strengthen your manuscript. If you need detailed editing, please message me before ordering.
