About this Gig
A boring DnD character backstory can ruin immersion and make your RPG character feel forgettable. I will write a custom DnD character backstory that gives your hero depth, personality, emotional motivation, & powerful roleplay potential for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, and fantasy RPG campaigns.
Whether you need a tragic rogue, noble paladin, mysterious warlock, or a fully developed homebrew character, I create immersive fantasy backstories designed to fit naturally into your campaign world and help your character stand out at the table. Every story is written from scratch and tailored to your class, race, alignment, personality, and campaign setting so your character feels authentic, memorable, and exciting to roleplay.
My goal is not just to give you a backstory, but to create a character with meaningful motivations, personal conflicts, hidden secrets, relationships, and story hooks your Dungeon Master can easily weave into the campaign. The result is a richer roleplaying experience that makes your character feel truly alive from the very first session.
I write backstory for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, TTRPGs, NPCs, and original fantasy characters with fast delivery.

FAQ
Can you write backstories for games other than DnD?
Of course, While I specialize in DnD, I can write backstories for a wide range of RPG systems, including Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, World of Darkness, or any custom homebrew setting. Just let me know your system and any specific lore you would like me to use.
Will my character backstory be completely original?
Absolutely. Every backstory is custom-written from scratch based on your character and ideas. I do not use templates or copy existing stories, so your character will feel unique, personal, and memorable.
What if I don't have many ideas for my character's past?
No problem at all, I can work with minimal information and help you brainstorm ideas. I'll ask you a series of questions to uncover interesting facets of your character and build a compelling history from there.
Will the backstory include plot hooks for my Dungeon Master?
Yes, I always aim to include elements that your Dungeon Master can use to weave your character's past into the ongoing campaign, creating engaging personal quests and story arcs.
What is your revision policy?
Each package includes a set number of revisions to ensure you are completely satisfied with your character's backstory. My goal is to deliver a story you'll love.
