Every manuscript needs a different kind of eye. A children's book lives or dies on rhythm and read aloud flow. A fantasy novel needs someone tracking worldbuilding, magic rules, and timeline consistency across hundreds of pages. Romance needs pacing that keeps tension alive between the plot beats. That's why I don't treat every manuscript the same way.

I offer both proofreading and developmental editing, depending on where your manuscript is in its journey.

If you need proofreading, I'm catching grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and consistency errors, the final polish before your book goes to print or upload.

If you need developmental editing, we're going deeper. I'm looking at structure, pacing, character arcs, plot holes, and whether your story actually delivers on what it promises the reader by chapter one. For children's books, that means checking age appropriate language and read aloud rhythm. For fantasy, that means tracking your world's internal logic so nothing contradicts itself two hundred pages later. For romance, that means making sure the emotional beats land when they're supposed to.
