I set up a separate development database for your Lovable, Bolt or Cursor app on Supabase: build and test without risking production, and database changes reach production in order, not by hand.

Will you see my users' data?
No. Development only gets fake data, and I never need production keys.
I'm on Lovable Cloud. Can you do this?
Not inside Lovable Cloud: since 5 October 2026 it has one database per project. Move to your own Supabase first (my migration gig, or both together as a custom offer).
What if my migrations don't match production?
I check them against your production schema and fix the gap before setting up the workflow.
Does it cost more on Supabase?
A second project may need a paid plan, depending on how many you have. On the free plan, development can run locally instead.
