FAQ
What types of Genres/ Documents do you work with?
1. Fiction & Non-Fiction Books 2. Memoirs & Autobiographies 3. Self-Help & Personal Development Books 4. Academic & Research Writing 5. Children's Books 6. Business Books & eBooks 7. Short Stories & Novellas.
How does it work?
1. Place your order and select the package that fits your needs. 2. Upload your manuscript (MS Word .doc/.docx preferred). 3. I'll review, edit, and return it with tracked changes and comments. 4. Request revisions if needed, your satisfaction is guaranteed.
What file format should I submit my manuscript in?
Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) is strongly preferred as it supports Track Changes, which I use to clearly show every edit made. If your file is in PDF or Google Docs format, please message me before ordering so we can arrange a smooth transfer.
Will you change my writing style or voice?
Absolutely not. My job is to enhance your writing, not replace it. I carefully preserve your unique voice and tone throughout the editing process. My edits focus on correctness, clarity, and flow — never on imposing a different style.
What if my manuscript is longer than the maximum word count in your package?
No problem! Simply message me before placing your order with your total word count, and I'll create a custom package priced appropriately for your project.
What is the difference between proofreading and copy editing?
Proofreading is the final stage of editing, it catches surface-level errors like spelling mistakes, punctuation issues, and grammar errors. Copy editing goes deeper, addressing sentence structure, readability, word choice, and overall writing flow.
Do you offer a sample edit before I commit to an order?
Yes! I'm happy to provide a complimentary sample edit of up to 500 words so you can see my editing style before committing. Simply message me with a short excerpt from your manuscript.
How do I know my manuscript will remain confidential?
Your work is 100% confidential. I do not share, publish, or distribute any client manuscript under any circumstances. If you require a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), I'm happy to sign one before we begin.
Can you work with tight deadlines?
In many cases, yes. If you need your manuscript returned faster than the listed delivery time, message me to discuss an expedited timeline. Rush fees may apply depending on word count and urgency.
