I will record powerful, mix-ready bass tracks for your metal song.
With 20+ years experience as a metal bassist and, from the perspective of a metal music producer, who understands the importance of a solid low end in the mix, I will provide a tight and punchy metal bass recording that elevates your mix.
Depending on which package and options you select, I will provide a DI or processed bass recording to suit your requirements.
I will record with my Ibanez SR2605 5 string bass into a DI and provide a 44.1kHz, 24-bit, mono WAV file as standard. Please inform me if you require any alternative format.

Do you play with fingers or a pick?
Primarily with fingers, however I can use a pick if requested or if I feel it would enhance the song.
Can you provide a MIDI bass track in addition to a recorded track?
Yes. Some mix engineers blend a real bass recording with a MIDI bass track to thicken the low end. I can provide the MIDI bass if requested.
I don't have tabs, MIDI or an isolated bass track. Can you work with just my demo file?
If there is no way to provide any of these, then I can proceed, however there would be additional time and cost
I want a specific bass tone. Can you prepare this?
Sure. If you can provide me a with a reference song, then I can recreate this tone as close as possible.

This was a session with an experienced pro. Richard added the heavy groove and i absolutely luv it. He works , fast and supports you to get what you want out of the session.
