Do you want your subject in a different setting? Whether that's a green screen shoot, a busy original background, or a natural photo you'd like placed somewhere new, I can work with what you have.
I replace backgrounds and rebuild the color temperature and light direction on the subject to match the new scene, so the final image reads as a real photograph.
I work in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, hand-building the selection when automated tools fail, especially on fine, flyaway hair that most background-removal tools can't handle cleanly.

I edit and restore photographs, and build original color and pattern work across a range of media.
I've worked with Photoshop off and on since 1997, and in recent years that's turned into regular, hands-on retouching, compositing, and restoration work, recovering what's actually present in a photo rather than inventing plausible detail.
Color is where I do my strongest work, matching light and temperature across a composite, correcting a color cast in a decades-old print, catching a shift most people wouldn't notice.
Outside photo work, I design fabric patterns and hand-dye yarn.

Do you need a green screen photo, or can you work with any background?
A clean green or blue screen gives the cleanest, fastest result, but I can also work from natural photos or busier original backgrounds. Just send what you have and I'll let you know if it's workable.
Can you use my own photo as the new background?
Yes. Send both your subject photo and the background or scene you'd like, and I'll composite and match them together.
Will it look like a real photo, or obviously edited?
The goal is a natural result. I rebuild the color temperature and light direction on the subject to match the new background, and hand-build selections around fine detail like hair, so the final image reads as a real photograph rather than a visible cutout.
What file do I need to send?
The highest resolution version of your subject photo you have access to. Higher resolution source files give a cleaner final result, especially around fine detail like hair.
Can I use the finished image for my business?
The base packages are for personal use. If you need commercial usage rights (advertising, marketing, business use), add the Commercial Use extra at checkout.
How many revisions do I get?
One revision is included with every package, to adjust color, positioning, or matching if something's not quite right the first time.
