FAQ
Do you need my email password?
I need SMTP access to send from your own mail account. Please create an app password, not your main password, and revoke it as soon as the job is done. I never store it.
What list formats do you accept?
Excel (.xlsx, .xls, including files with multiple sheets) and CSV. I need a name, an email address and a file name for each recipient. Column names can be different in every file; I’ll match them.
What file types can you attach?
PDF, Word, Excel, images, zip and most other documents. Each email gets the file that matches that recipient, and I can also add one common file, such as a notice, to every email.
Can you guarantee inbox delivery?
I can’t control spam filters. Emails go out from your own mail account, so they come from a sender your recipients already know. You get a full Sent/Failed report with the date and time for each email.
Will I see the list before anything is sent?
Yes. I show you the full list of recipients and matching files first, and nothing is sent until you approve. For sensitive batches I can also send one by one, so you check every email.
What if some emails fail?
Failed emails are listed with the reason (for example a wrong address or a full mailbox). I retry them once and give you the final report.
What do I need to send you?
Your list, your documents, the subject line and message you want, and an app password for the sending account. If you don’t have a message, tell me what the email is for and I’ll draft one for you to approve.
Do you send spam or bulk marketing?
No. I only send documents to people who should receive them, such as branch letters, invoices, payslips and statements. I don’t use bought lists or send unsolicited promotions.
