FAQ
What types of drawings can you review?
I can review mechanical component drawings, fabrication part drawings, sheet metal layouts, and assembly drawings — in formats like PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP, or 2D/3D renders. Just upload what you have.
What kind of feedback will I receive?
You’ll receive clear, practical comments on tolerances, dimensions, material callouts, surface finishes, and general manufacturability. Feedback will be sent as a separate note, PDF markup, or screen-marked image — depending on your preference.
Do you offer feedback on 3D models as well?
Yes, I can review 3D models (e.g. STEP, STL, IGES) for overall design health, feature clarity, undercuts, wall thicknesses, and ease of machining or fabrication.
Can you check if the drawing is ready to send to a vendor?
Absolutely. I’ll verify if your drawing includes the right tolerances, GD&T symbols (if needed), and detail levels to ensure vendors don’t misinterpret or delay fabrication
Will you modify or redraw the file?
This gig focuses on review and feedback only. If you need redraw or CAD work, that can be offered as a custom gig or added service.
Will you maintain confidentiality of my design?
Yes — your files are handled with full confidentiality. If needed, I can sign an NDA or provide a confidentiality commitment.
