FAQ
Do I need my own hosting and domain?
Yes. Any normal cPanel host with PHP 8.2+ and MySQL works, which is nearly all of them. If you are not sure yours will run it, send me the host name before ordering and I will check for free.
Is there a monthly fee or subscription?
No. You pay once, it is installed on your hosting, and it is yours. There is no licence check and nothing phones home.
Can my customers check their repair without calling the shop?
Yes. Every job gets a short tracking code and a page they open on their phone. No login, no app. They also get an automatic message each time the job moves stage.
Does it send SMS and WhatsApp messages?
Email works immediately. SMS and WhatsApp need a gateway account in your own name, which you pay the provider for. I connect it for you on the Premium package or as an extra.
Can I bring my existing customer list across?
Yes, from a spreadsheet or CSV. That is included from the Standard package up.
Do I get the source code?
Yes, on every package. Clean, commented PHP you or any developer can change later.
Can it handle deposits and part payments?
Yes. Take a deposit at drop-off, the balance at collection, or any number of payments in between. The balance is always calculated from the actual payments.
Can you add something specific to how my shop works?
Usually yes, because I built the system myself. Message me with what you need and I will tell you if it fits and what it costs.
Does it handle stock, parts inventory or a till?
Not yet. It handles repair jobs, estimates, invoices and payments. Stock control is on the roadmap and I can quote it as custom work.
What if it will not run on my host?
I check your host before I start. If it cannot run it, I will tell you before you order rather than after.
