PCB Designer and Firmware Development
About this Gig
Turn your IoT idea into a manufacturable ESP32 board with stable WiFi and Bluetooth performance.
WHAT I DESIGN
- ESP32, ESP32-S3, ESP32-C3, ESP32-C6 (module or bare chip)
- Sensors: temperature, humidity, motion, air quality, current, soil, GPS
- WiFi and Bluetooth/BLE with correct antenna placement and keep-out
- On-board PCB antenna, chip antenna or external connector
- USB-C programming, auto-reset and UART/JTAG headers
- Power: USB, Li-ion charging, buck/LDO, low-power sleep design
- Relays, displays, buttons, LEDs and expansion headers
WHAT YOU GET
- Schematic design or review
- 2 to 4 layer PCB layout
- Antenna integration following manufacturer guidelines
- Clean grounding, decoupling and EMI-aware routing
- Gerber, BOM, pick-and-place and assembly drawing
- DFM check for JLCPCB, PCBWay and similar fabs
- Source files in KiCad, Altium or Eagle
PERFECT FOR
Smart home devices, wearables, environmental monitors, industrial IoT, agriculture sensors and prototypes headed for mass production.
Send your idea or schematic and I will recommend the best ESP32 variant and board layout.
FAQ
Should I use an ESP32 module or the bare chip?
Modules are faster, cheaper to develop and often pre-certified. The bare chip suits high-volume products. I will recommend the best option for your budget, size and certification needs.
Will the WiFi and Bluetooth range be good?
I follow Espressif’s layout and antenna keep-out guidelines to give the best possible range. Real range also depends on your enclosure, battery and environment.
