I model PET, HDPE and PP bottles in Fusion 360 as clean solid CAD, built around a standard neck finish and your fill volume.

FAQ
What do you need from me to start?
Capacity and fill level, the neck finish or cap you plan to use, material (PET, HDPE, PP), height and diameter limits, plus a sketch or reference bottle.
Can you work from a sketch or a bottle I already sell?
Yes. A sketch, photos with a ruler in frame or a sample's measurements are enough. I rebuild or reshape it as clean solid CAD.
Will my blow molder accept your bottle CAD files?
Yes. STEP and IGES open in any mold-making CAD. The mold maker adds mold blocks, cooling and venting and confirms wall thickness for their process.
How do you make sure the bottle capacity is right?
I measure the inside volume of the solid model and set the fill line with headspace. The final figure is confirmed on blown samples, since wall thickness varies slightly.
Which neck finishes do you design for?
Common finishes such as 28 mm PCO 1881, 24/410, 28/410 and 38 mm. Send your cap supplier's drawing and I model the neck to it.
Do you design the preform too?
No. Preforms are chosen or designed by the preform supplier to match the bottle weight and neck. I can note the target bottle weight on the drawing for them.
Do you make molds, prototypes or test bottles?
No. I deliver digital CAD, drawings and renders only. Molds, sample bottles and drop or top-load tests are done by your molder.
What changes the price?
Shape complexity, grips, ribs or embossing, number of sizes, base type and drawing depth. A simple round bottle on a stock neck sits in Basic.
Do I own the bottle CAD files?
Yes. Once the order is complete you own the bottle CAD and drawings and can use them for production. I design original shapes and never copy a protected bottle.
