The goal of RJFH Musics Extreme Vocal Coaching is to share the love of screaming.

In each lesson, I will equip metal vocalists with the confidence, techniques and guidance to safely explore their vocal range to create harsh metal vocals.

The RJFH Music EXtreme Vocal Framework seeks to lay the foundations for understanding how these vocals work, how to identify strain and vocal risks, whilst carefully navigating any uncertainties to build confidence and freedom to explore and discover your unique metal voice.

My sessions covers topics including, but not limited to:

• The anatomy of the vocal scream, to understand our different vocal ranges.
• Correct breathing and posture for greater vocal endurance.
• Vocal health and maintenance for sustained healthy vocal practice.
• The importance of Warming Up & Cooling Down to avoid vocal damage.
• The safe application of grit and distortion to your vocals to avoid overly strained and tense vocals.
• Techniques including glottal compression, the false cords, fry/squeak and throat singing for wider experimentation with your vocals.
• Vocal exercises that target comfortable, controlled and consistent screams.
• Advanced techniques for confident exploration.
