Hello all! My name is Robbie Lester, a male, British actor, and voiceover artist.
I record all my work here in my home studio in the wonderful bonny city that is Edinburgh.
I've received full training in Theatre, TV & Film, and Radio at the highly established Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
One of the highlights of my career was appearing in the Bafta-nominated BBC film 'A Poet in New York'
I consider my voice to have qualities of warmth, calmness, relatability, empathy, approachableness, and friendliness.

When can I expect a recording to be completed by?
It all depends on the length of the script but if it's under 500 words and we've discussed a time slot prior to booking; it will be returned by the end of the day or the very next morning.
Are there any limitions with revisions?
No, I pride myself in customer service and I will not stop working until you're 100% satisfied with the work I've provided.
Is it possible to hear a sample before confiming a gig?
Absolutely. As long as the script is short and not too time-consuming, I'll record a quick sample and have it returned ASAP.
Do you have special prices for returning customers
Special prices can be arranged for returning customers.
Do I need to buy commercial rights?
If the recording is for "commercials with limited reach" (explainer videos on company websites, social networks or email campaigns, podcast intros training videos, etc) you must buy Commercials Rights. For larger distribution commercials (TV, Radio, Streaming) you must buy Full Broadcast Rights.
When do I need to buy the full broadcast rights?
If the recording is for "Full Broadcasting Commercials" (Television/Radio Commercials, Internet Radio, and Music/Video Streaming Platforms) you must buy Full Broadcast Rights. For limited distribution commercials (on company websites, podcast, email) you may buy Commercial Rights instead.
What rights does the Basic Gig cover?
The Voice Over Gig includes usage for not-for-profit charity projects, voice machine recordings, student projects, and in-house presentations if the V/O is used for commercials, Commercial or Full Broadcast License must be purchased.
